1st Laverstock Scout Group 2016 Home Beaver Scouts Cub Scouts Scouts Explorer Scouts Parents
This lot are mad. They call themselves the LARKS. “Laverstock Are Real Kool Scouts” We are a group of young people aged from 14 to 18 from in and around Laverstock. Many of us have been in Beavers, Cubs or Scouts but quite a few of us have joined Explorer Scouts direct with no previous Scouting experience.
Who are we
You will find us organising ourselves to take part in Skiing, Cycling, Go karting, Climbing, Windsurfing, Caving, Camping, Expeditions abroad or just staying in the Scout Hut helping out as young leaders with Beavers, Cubs or Scouts and getting heavily involved in any game designed for Beaver Scouts. The fun and laughter never seems to stop. As well as Laverstock explorers they also get involved with activities from other Explorer Scout Units in Salisbury and South Wiltshire.
What do we do?
We meet on Wednesdays from 7.30 to 9.30 in Laverstock Village Hall. If weather permits we spend as much time as possible outside. Whenever possible we rough camp throughout the year in local camp sites.
