Fund Raising

Running the Scout Group costs a lot more than the membership fees collected from each member of the group. We rely heavily on extra income from Jumble Sales, Car Washes, Gift Aid etc. to balance the books and continue to provide Scouting for the young people of Laverstock.

We also realise that many of the Mums and Dads are bringing up young families and don't always have the time to devote to fundraising events.

So here are two ways you can help boost the funds of the group without leaving your arm chair.

 

 

 

1. easyfundraising.org.uk You can use this web site to do your on-line shopping. Whether your looking to insure the car, buy a book, do the lottery, book a holiday or shop at Tesco, this site pays a percentage of every penny your spend in these stores directly back to the Scout Group. Just use the search engine and we get one penny per search. Go to the web site and Register selecting 1st Laverstock Scout Group as your chosen charity.

 

 

 

 

 

2. The Utility Warehouse Discount Club Sign up to this site and join a quarter of a million households and businesses throughout the UK who save money on their Home Phone, Mobile Phone, Broadband, Gas and Electricity. Sign up quoting appeal number D56200. The Group receives a percentage of whatever your monthly bills are for as long as you are a member of the discount club.
