The most important part of any successful Scout Group. Every family needs the help, support and friendship of parents and friends. The Scout Group is no different. Our parents committee or Group Executive help to raise funds, organise social events and make sure that the leaders are suitable and have the tools required to run an effective Scout Group.

Parent members are elected each year by a vote taken at the AGM. The more parents we have on the committee the less  their is for each individual to do and the more we can provide for the young people in our care.

You do not have to be related to a young person in our group to be on the committee and help provide Scouting for young people in Laverstock.
